| Login and Account Problem |

You can enjoy most of portes-anciennes's content without signing up for a MyMobileTube account, but we encourage you to sign up to take advantage of the following features of our service:
- Maintain a video queue and add videos to it for future viewing.
- Subscribe to shows and portes-anciennes will add new videos for those shows to your queue.
- Activate resume play. Log into portes-anciennes on a particular computer, and as long as you remain logged in, any video will resume playing where you left off previously.
- Create a profile page from which you can monitor your portes-anciennes activity. You can also choose to share your interests with other users through your public profile.
We also require users to have a portes-anciennes account and to be logged in to watch any content intended for mature audiences. |

| Technical Issues |

To enjoy videos at portes-anciennes, you will need the following software installed on your computer:
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or above, Firefox 1.5 or above, or Safari 2.0 or above
- JavaScript and Cookies must also be enabled
- Window Media Player 9.0 or above
- Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Microsoft Windows Vista, Macintosh OS X, or Linux
In addition, you will need an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth. Our videos stream at 480Kbps or 700Kbps, and we'll adjust our stream based on your bandwidth, but we recommend a downstream bandwidth of 1000Kbps or higher for the smoothest playback experience. You can test your downstream bandwidth at many websites. Search for "bandwidth test" on the web to find many of the most popular bandwidth test websites.
Some of our videos now come in a 1,000 Kbps, H.264, 480p stream. You can recognize these streams by the 480p Hi-Res button that will appear in the lower right of the player. To watch these high resolution streams, you'll need to upgrade to Media Player 9.0, and we recommend a downstream bandwidth of 1,500Kbps for the smoothest playback experience.
You'll also need Media Player 9.0 to watch the 720p clips in our HD Gallery. Those are encoded at 2,500Kbps, and we recommend a downstream bandwidth of over 3,500Kbps to stream those, or you can pause and allow the streams to buffer before playing them.

If you cannot hear audio from portes-anciennes videos, please try the following steps:
- Verify that the volume settings in the portes-anciennes player are correctly set.
- Verify that your computer speaker volumes and settings are correctly set.
- Verify that other media speakers such as Flash Player or Quicktime can output audio.
- If that does not work, restart the computer and try watching portes-anciennes videos.

| This is currently a limitation with the Windows Media Player which we're using to stream our content. As a short-term workaround, you can maximize the pop out player instead. This will achieve nearly the same effect and allow you to work on the other monitor. We're continuing to investigate possible solutions as we want to take good care of our multi-tasking users. |

| portes-anciennes's mission is to help you find and enjoy the world's premium content, when, where and how you want it. Our library includes thousands of videos, from full episodes of new and archive TV shows to full-length movies to sports games and highlights to clips. We are always working with our content partners to deliver the most compelling selection of programming online. |

Our content availability goals are aligned with those of our users: to get as much content as possible and to keep it all up permanently. How many episodes we are able to post and how long we're able to keep them on the site depends on streaming clearances granted by our content providers. We work with them constantly to try to secure more, and they've been great about working on our behalf to reach into their vaults.
There isn't one single reason why a show might expire off of the site. Streaming clearances can be limited by any number of legal or business agreements that differ from show to show. Music clearances, impending DVD sales, syndication sales - these are just a few reasons why an episode might expire.
It's just as painful for us as it is for you when we have to expire a video as they are the heart of our business, so know that we're working hard all the time to continue to expand streaming clearances.

| Can you add more closed-captioning? |
| We currently receive closed-captioning data for some of our shows. You'll know closed captioning is available if you see the cc button to the left of the volume control in the video player window. Click the button and select the language to turn closed captioning on. We're working to add it for more of our catalog all the time. The closed-captioning data that's used for broadcast TV isn't easily translated for online use, so we're investigating alternative solutions to boost our closed-captioning coverage. |
